DOCUMENTARY Book -WAHON- Blu-ray edition

The DVD “DOCUMENTARY WAHON”, which was released in 2007 to great acclaim, is now available on Blu-ray! This complete version includes digital high-definition video and 100 minutes of bonus footage. Wahon” is a cultural heritage that Japan should be proud of. Wahon” is Japan’s cultural heritage and a uniquely Japanese culture that represents the world. The word “cultural heritage” may sound like a difficult and intimidating word, but the charm of this world lies in the fact that while there are many classical books of high academic and artistic value, there are also many that can be enjoyed by the general public. In order to make the world of Japanese books more accessible and enjoyable, the Tokyo Classics Society has fully cooperated in this project. This is a “human documentary about the people surrounding Wabon,” filmed over a period of about a year.
